Getting to the Hebrides

by Ferry…

Caledonian MacBrayne operate ferry sailings to both North & South Uist which can be booked at calmac.co.uk

From Calmac Ferry Terminal, Lochmaddy – 23.1miles; 35 minutes

On disembarking the ferry turn left, following the signs to Clachan for 8.3 miles. Turn left onto the A865 sign posted Lochboisdale and continue south for approx 14 miles passing Creagorry Coop, across the causeway to South Uist, continue for 0.8 miles then turn left to Ardmore and Lochside Cottage is the first house on the left.

From Calmac Ferry Terminal, Lochboisdale – 19.7 miles; 30 minutes

On disembarking the ferry follow the A865 for 19.7 miles then turn right into Ardmore and Lochside Cottage is the first house on the left.

Getting to the Hebrides

by Air…

Flybe offers a regular air service to Benbecula from Glasgow, Inverness & Stornoway which areavailable to book at www.flybe.com

From Benbecula Airport – 7.8 miles; 20 minutes

From the terminal building turn right and follow the road to the junction. Turn right onto the B892 following signs to Lochboisdale for approx 6 miles then turn right onto A865 heading South continue for 1.8 miles then turn left to Ardmore and Lochside Cottage is the first house on the left.
